It’s no secret peonies are one of the flowers I bring into my work frequently. While looking into the symbolism of a peony, I discovered they stand for compassion and friendship. After finishing this piece, I realized how sometimes we all don’t give ourselves enough compassion when looking in the mirror (or at least I don’t) so the name “Compassion” came so naturely.
